Pro-Abortion Rally
Tampa, FL
Jan 22nd, 2026
On January 22nd, 2026, in Tampa, FL, there was a rally held by Pro-Abortionists. It was held between 12PM and 1PM. When we first drove by, the crowd looked to be only a few people. When we walked up, we realized that they were scattered at about 4 corners of the street. At about 12:30, they joined together in a larger group that made about a total of 50 protestors. The first thing we noticed was what we call “the Yellow Jackets,” who are people that “Keep The Peace” at these rallies. We have started seeing them pop up more in recent protests that we have attended. I was joined up with my friend Cullen, who has been a huge help with interviewing protesters and others at other events that we have been to before this rally. We made it clear to a few people that we don’t come to argue but to find common ground with the given topic in which they are protesting against. In this case, it was Pro-Abortion and women's rights to abortion.
The question that I was asking was “Do you agree with the bill that Ron DeSantis is pushing that would allow the death penalty for rapists who rape a child under the age of 14?” which, to be correct, the bill (House Bill 1297) correctly says under the age of 12. I was asking this question because it showed the flaw in their worldview. All of those whom I asked this question said “they do not support the death penalty at any cost.” That's interesting because what is abortion then?
When we look at the videos that we can simply find online of what abortion is, either the abortion pill, the vacuum, or the tongs of death, we can see through scans what the baby in the womb is experiencing. As early as 10 weeks, the baby can feel pain, and its nervous system starts to form.

Let’s talk Bible now when it comes to life, value, and death. According to scripture, Life begins at conception, and this can also be backed up with a recent scientific study. What is considered life according to the Bible? In Genesis 2:7, it reads “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.”
According to Genesis 2:7 When God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, the man became alive. To go deeper into the realm of apologetics, if Adam at the time was a grown man already when he was created and became alive, does this verse then apply to children in the womb? Do life and value, according to Genesis 2:7 and Genesis 1:26, start only when you grow up? Or does life start when the breath of life enters you? And do we have value only because someone deems it, or because we are all created in His image?
Scientific studies showed two things when the sperm meets the egg:
1. An explosion of zinc occurs when a woman's egg is activated by a sperm enzyme, which is the moment of conception/fertilization.
2. When fertilization begins, in order for it to grow or start, Oxygen is required.

According to Biblical tradition, the breath of life is what gives us life. If we can’t breathe, we die.
“Breath is used in the Bible as a powerful symbol of the life-giving presence of God. Like God Himself, the air we breathe is invisible, odourless, and tasteless—it cannot be perceived at all unless it moves. It is usually peaceful and still, but it is a reservoir of enormous power. The air is a massive ocean—invisible, yet completely necessary for our lives, for we would quickly die without it. It seems reasonable to suggest that one reason God created the air—and respiration—was to show us graphically how great and immediate is our need for Him.” Answersingenesis.com
Even when we breathe, the name of the Lord YHWH (יהוה) comes out. This is a daily reminder that God sustains all things, and we can do nothing to escape it. That even atheists or people who worship false gods can not escape proclaiming the name of the LORD.
At the protest, while we made our way around, there would be individuals who would follow and interupt our conversations. Given this, we already expected that to happen due to the fact that, according to their flyers and info online, they were all told not to make eye contact or even speak to anyone who opposed their worldview. Luckily, we were able to talk to a few people and had a very open and honest dialogue.
At one point, we were about to start having a conversation, a tall woman stopped us and asked if we supported abortion. My answer obviously was “I do not agree with abortion, but I am here to have conversations and to find common ground.” After that answer was given, the lady we were talking to said that she wanted to stop talking, that the conversation was over. My friend Cullen at the event wanted to ask a follow-up question, but the lady said no, and Cullen responded in agreement to end the conversation. This taking place didn’t make the tall woman (Big-Bird) happy at all, and she started to tell us that “we needed to leave.” If you know us at all, we don’t like when people tell us where we can and can not be, what we can and can not say, or what questions we can ask. This was made clear to Big-Bird multiple times. She then referred to calling Cullen a “cunt.”
At the end of the protest, after many had left already, we got into a great conversation with two individuals who leaned more left and were liberal. We agreed on many topics and disagreed on some, but we all came together with one thing in mind: WE SHOULDN’T HATE ANYONE.
